The National Executive Unit of
the Hindustan Scouts and Guides Association has been celebrating the birth anniversary of the founder of the institution, Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, on 25th December every year as Sadhana Diwas. Many influential people provided leadership in the institution's glorious history. This year too, it has been decided to organize it in a traditional way in New Delhi with its limited resources. The invitation is sent by the undersigned to all Life Members and Secretaries of State after consultation with the competent office bearers of the institution. The event will be held with a limited number of in-person attendance as per emergency rules due to the Covid pandemic period. Therefore, 49 members are being registered on the basis of the first registration sequence. The registration fee for participation in the one-day event is Rs. 500.
The main point of the program, which will be officially conducted for half a day, will be the analysis and clarification by eminent lawyers on the ongoing cases in the court of the institution. All state secretaries are being given time and platform to elaborate their views in an open forum. For the smooth running of the institution and organization, a detailed discussion will be held in the informal meeting after lunch. Esteemed members participating from remote areas are requested to schedule their departure only after the evening snacks. The entire video recording of the event will be circulated to all members.
Due to certain reasons, the outgoing National President Shri Parshottam Rupala ji, Hon'ble Minister of Farmers Welfare, Government of India, resigned on completion of the term on 31st July 2019. Earlier, the local court Rohini gave a stay order on the election to be held on May 5, 2019. Senior Vice President and Working President Shri Hari Swaroop Sharma has been requested to preside over the present programme.
